We have four upstairs 1-bed apartments with big balconies alongside the pool

​ The four upstairs one-bed apartments with balcony overlook the pool from the side. Each has a balcony across the full width of the apartment, which is 1.25 metres deep. There is a canvas roller blind for shade and privacy, and a table and chairs. You can spend the days out here, and the evenings indoors, or vice versa, all in your private space. We renovated #9A during August/September 2022. #10A is currently rented long-term.

Access

 These apartments are accessed each by a private stairway from the front door of the apartment downstairs beside the pool. Access from below is up 14 broad and easy stairs with a landing and hand rail. There is an electronic doorbell below. The terrace downstairs belongs to the downstairs studio.

Living space

​ Behind the balcony inside there is a living space with wooden cathedral ceiling and a reclining or leather sofa, smart TV, folding dining table. There is plenty of storage space, including a pull-out "spice cupboard", drawers and shelves, plus large storage cupboards fitted under the high cathedral ceilings.

Cooking

​ In 10A/11A/12A there is an open-plan, fully-equipped kitchen with granite or marble counter-tops, sink, stove, fridge-freezer, microwave, small appliances (coffee machine, kettle, blender and toaster). Everything you need to self-cater, or to store and warm up and serve delivery meals. There is also a water cooler.

In 10A and 12A, the kitchen runs in an L-shape alongside the bathroom, in 11A there is a a larger bathroom, so the kitchen is entirely in the front room.

In 9A there is a kitchenette on the landing, with 4 gas rings. microwave, fridge-freezer and small appliances, granite surface and storage space.

 

Sleeping

​ At the rear, looking over a vacant lot, is the bedroom with a cathedral ceiling, a queen-size bed, a closet with mirror doors, drawers and shelves. The windows are double-glazed to help you sleep peacefully. 

 

Safety

​ For your security there is a wall-safe for storing documents and cash safely.The front door has two locks, the balcony door has one.

 

Showering

​10A and 12A have shower rooms off the landing, with washbasin and WC, and a small storage cupboard. 9A and 11A have a full bathroom with walk-in coralina shower, WC, washbasin and a large wall closet.

 

Cooling off

​ There are celing fans and a/c units in both the living area and the bedroom. The front-facing windows and doors are glass louvred, dark glass for privacy, and all windows and doors have mosquito screens. All rear-facing windows, including the bedrooms have double-glazed windows.

 

Entertainment and working from home/away

​ There is a TV in both the living area and the bedroom (both at least 40" smart TVs), all TVs have HDMI connections. Local cable is supplied, and you can use your internet for further viewing. Each apartment has exclusive wifi with 10 mbps upload and 25 mbps download - as recommended by Netflix for watching ultra-high density films. Plenty for Zoom meetings and Facetime or Skype with family, friends and colleagues.

Mobility

These apartments are up one flight of stairs, with a handrail. All showers are lined in ceramics or corolina stone and walk-in, with a safety grab-handle. There are one or two steps down to the balcony.
