We have four standard studios downstairs

​ We have three types of studios, all of which are one room apartments. The standard studios have a fully equipped open kitchen and a bathroom with walk-in (or step-in) shower. Each has a small terrace by the entrance with a table and chairs. You can spend the days out here, and the evenings indoors, or vice versa, all in your private space.

 

Access

 These apartments are accessed by a double front door. No steps or stairs. Easy wheelchair or rollator access.

Living space

​ You enter into a living space cum bedroom, with a smart TV, dining table, desk, drawers and plenty of storage space.

 

Cooking

​ At the back of the living-space under a window is a fully-equipped kitchen with granite counter-tops, sink, stove, fridge-freezer, microwave, small appliances (coffee machine, kettle, blender and toaster). Everything you need to self-cater, or to store and warm up and serve delivery meals. There is also a water cooler. The windows behind the kitchens are double-glazed.

Sleeping

​ In the central part of the studio is a an oak queen bed (#13 and #15) an extra-long queen bed (#14) or a pine king bed (#03). There is also a closet with mirror doors, drawers and shelves. (#03 has pine closet doors). 

Safety

​ For your security there is a wall-safe for storing documents and cash safely. The front doors have two locks - a push-button privacy lock and a more robust deadlock.

Showering

​ In the bathroom, there is a walk-in shower lined with local coralina stone, a washbasin and WC, and more cupboard space, shelf and mirror.

Cooling off

​ There is a ceiling fan over the bed, and an a/c unit. The front entrance windows and doors are glass louvred, dark glass for privacy. All windows and doors have mosquito screens.

Entertainment and working from home/away

​ There is a 40" or larger smart TV with HDMI connections. Local cable is supplied, and you can use your internet for further viewing. Each apartment has exclusive wi-fi with 10 mbps upload and 25 mbps download - as recommended by Netflix for watching ultra-high density films. Plenty for Zoom meetings and Facetime or Skype with family, friends and colleagues. There is a desk and office chair (except currently in #13).

 #03, #13 and #15 are available from late March. #14 is available from early February.  More information on request.

Mobility

 These apartments are all wheelchair accessible. Bathroom doors vary (#13 is narrower), please ask for details. We are happy to discuss making adjustments to improve mobility for a stay of three months or more. There are some unavoidable but gentle slopes in the common area.
