We have three downstairs junior studios, and one upstairs

​ Studios are one room apartments. The downstairs junior studios have a well equipped open kitchenette and a walk-in shower plus a half-bath with toilet, washbasin, cupboard. Each has a large terrace by the entrance with a table and chairs. You can spend the days out here, and the evenings indoors, or vice versa, all in your private space. These studios are intended for single occupancy.

The upstairs junior studio, #17, has a full bathroom with step-in shower. It has a balcony with a view of the pool.

Access

 The downstarirs apartments are accessed by a double front door. No steps or stairs. Easy access. The upstairs apartment has a single door access.

Living space

​ You enter into a living space cum bedroom, with a smart TV (40-inch), dining table with 2 chairs, closet space.

Cooking

​ Alongside the living-space in 10B/11B (and at the back/front of the studio in 9B/17) is a well-equipped kitchen with granite counter-top, sink, four-burner gas hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, small appliances (coffee machine, kettle, blender and toaster). We can provide a pizza oven or grill if you want one. Everything you need to self-cater, or to store and warm up and serve delivery meals. There is also a water cooler.

Sleeping

​ Towards the rear of the studio in 10B, 11B, 17, behind a partition wall or closet is a queen-size bed. In 10B and 11B, this is accessible only from one side. In 9B the queen bed is towards the front of the studio - you can watch TV lying in bed.

Safety

​ For your security there is a wall-safe for storing documents and cash safely. The front doors either have two locks - a push-button privacy lock and a more robust deadlock, or a double-glazed entrance with a very secure lock.

Showering

​ In 10b/11B at the back of the apartment, with a black-glass window to allow ventilation but maintain privacy, is a shower cubicle. Lined with ceramics and glass blocks, with a grab handle. In 9B the shower is against one wall half-way back in the apartment. The toilet and washbasin are separate, in a half-bath under the stairs to the upstairs apartment. In 17 you have a small but complete bathroom with step-in shower.

Cooling off

​ There is a ceiling fan, a movable standard fan, and an a/c unit that cools both the bed and the living space. The windows and doors are a mixture of glass louvred and double-glazed, with dark glass for privacy. All windows and doors have mosquito screens. In 9B, 10B and 11B the roof to the large terrace keeps the front of the apartment in the shade, and the rear faces almost north. These apartments generally stay cool. In 17, you have a high cathedral ceiling and a through draft from balcony to entrance.

Entertainment and working from home/away

​ There is a 40" smart TV with HDMI connections. Local cable is supplied, and you can use your internet for further viewing. Each apartment has exclusive wi-fi with 10 mbps upload and 25 mbps download. Plenty for watching films, Zoom meetings and Facetime or Skype with family, friends and colleagues. Except in 17, there is a desk and office chair.

​Mobility

 These apartments are easily accessible (except 17 which is upstairs), but space is restricted and the toilet is not wheelchair accessible. We are happy to discuss making adjustments to improve mobility for a stay of three months or more. There are some unavoidable but gentle slopes in the common area.
